The Prelaunch Co-Creation Lab is the way Focus Groups were meant to be. Taking the highly relevant unpaid segments of future customers, we invite them to a series of individual and group calls. See how we select participants here.
The goal of these is to run through a series of questions to understand who these segments are in more detail, why they make purchasing decisions, what they value, why they need your product, and more.
Usually, a Prelaunch Co-Creation Lab involves 2-3 group sessions and 5-10 individual sessions. Depending on the audience size, engagement, and number of segments, this can also change. Each group session takes 45-60 minutes, while the individual sessions take 20-30 minutes each.
In order to save you time and effort, and produce higher quality unbiased results, each Co-Creation Lab is run by an expert moderator from the Prelaunch Community Team. You’ll be given recordings and a summary of the insights at the end of the lab.

Finally, this isn’t the only in-person customer research you’re able to do. While the Prelaunch Co-Creation Labs are managed for you by the Prelaunch Team, you can always run your own sessions. We encourage all brands and Prelaunch Creators to actively engage their communities on- and off-platform to gather deeper insights and build stronger relationships.
