If you have few comments in your Prelaunch.com page’s discussions, you’re not getting the full benefit of co-creating with your Prelaunch Community.
This could be for a number of reasons outlined in this article, but don’t worry as it should be easy enough to solve them and increase community engagement on your page.
Increase traffic to your page — if you bring more people to the page, more people will comment. This is the most simple solution, even if it isn’t always easy.
Welcome comment — write a short welcome comment to visitors to kick-off the discussion and let them know that there’s a human behind the project who will answer their questions
Be more active — reply to questions and comments quickly to show new visitors that you’re an active creator worth engaging
Try new audiences — experiment with different audiences until you find one who is more communicative
Improve your project page — include better visuals that show your product from different angles, show more use cases, highlight the problem and the benefit better, and do more to communicate the value
