When creating anything new, you put yourself out there. There will be supporters, and there will be critics. Sadly, in many cases, the critics are more vocal and louder. Those that support will subscribe, leave their reservation and move on trustingly.

Keep this in mind as you read the comments. If it’s the odd comment being negative for negativity’s sake, move past it and focus on the useful ones. But if you see a similar point repeated by a number of people, consider that there may be something you need to focus on.

It could be something as simple as missing information or visuals on your product page, a doubt that people have that needs some clarification. Or it could be something to do with the problem you identified and the solution your product proposes. If it’s the latter, you may need to go back to the drawing board.

Let’s emphasize that even in this case, you’re still benefiting from the feedback of the community. Isn’t it better to hear this feedback now than after you’ve already produced your product? Now you still have time to fix it and make it even better — and these critical comments are exactly where a lot of the value lies!

If there is a case of spamming, where a user or group of users is attacking your product page, please reach out to the Community Team at: [email protected].
